Camp Catch UR Breath
Camp Catch UR Breath is designed for children ages 6-12 with asthma. At the camp, children have fun, receive support from each other and learn to manage their asthma while under the supervision of trained medical professionals.
Camp Catch UR Breath offers a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, group games, asthma education, swimming and other sports.
Campers also participate in educational activities designed to help them better understand asthma. They learn what can trigger an asthma episode, how to handle an asthma episode and how their medications work.
Campers also gain support from one another on how to co-manage their asthma.
Camp Staff
Camp Catch UR Breath’s all-volunteer camp staff includes physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and health educators. We ensure that instructions from each camper’s physician are carefully followed. Parents can feel at ease knowing their children are supervised by medical professionals.
