At Carilion Clinic, we care for all your dental needs. Some of our dental offices are always accepting new patients. Others are by referral only.
Together, our dentistry offerings include something for everyone. Whether you need teeth cleaning, cosmetic dentistry, braces or hospital dentistry, we can help.
Through our combined practices, our dentists see people of all ages. This includes routine dental care for kids and adults with complex medical needs. We also have family dentistry and orthodontics.
The different arms of Carilion Dentistry accept different types of insurance. Some also require a doctor’s referral.
- Carilion Family Dental doesn’t require a referral and is open to the general public. It accepts Delta Dental, Anthem and other commercial insurances but not Medicaid or Medicare.
- Carilion Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics doesn’t require a referral and is open to the general public. This includes kids with special medical needs. Pediatric dentistry accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Delta Dental, Anthem and other commercial carriers.
- Carilion Hospital Dentistry requires a referral and isn't open to the general public. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, Delta Dental, Anthem and other commercial carriers.
Carilion's Financial Assistance Program may assist with medically necessary care if you can't afford it.
