Edgar Weaver has been practicing medicine since 1981. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia, School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and his residency from Tulane University. Dr. Weaver is certified with the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Weaver’s clinical expertise includes adult scoliosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated discs, minimally invasive spine surgery, myelopathy, radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, ulnar verve decompressions, laminectomy, nerve decompression (neck and back), and spinal fusion.
He is a member of the following; American Board of Neurological Surgery, Neurosurgical Society of the Virginias, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The American Association of Neurological Surgeons, The Medical Society of Virginia, The Roanoke Valley Academy of Medicine, and The University of Virginia School of Medicine Advisory Committee.
