Update on Traffic Changes Near Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital

Stage 3 To and From CRMH draft JDP

Utility work continues in the Crystal Spring area of Roanoke near CRMH. Beginning Wednesday, April 28, work will begin at the intersection of of McClanahan Street, S.W. and Jefferson Street, S.W. Some new detours to and from the hospital will be in place while this work is taking place. This phase of work is expected to take at least a few weeks.

The traffic signal at this intersection has been disabled and placed in flashing mode while this work is taking place. Traffic will not be able to make left turns through this intersection.

One lane of McClanahan Street will be closed between Crystal Spring Avenue and Jefferson Street. One lane of Jefferson Street between McClanahan Street and the hospital will be closed. Traffic on Yellow Mountain Road will be detoured to 22nd Street to avoid the intersection.
