Research Education Series

The Office of Continuing Professional Development and the Research & Development Department have partnered to develop and offer the 2022-2023 Research Series for faculty and staff at Carilion Clinic, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and Radford University Carilion.

Sessions will be offered virtually (Zoom links will be added to calendars) and recordings will be available online. Each session will include 30-minutes of didactic instruction followed by active discussion that will involve real-life and theoretical application of the concepts to research projects. If you have a current research project idea or concept, please bring it with you to the sessions!

Tier I Sessions
Will provide foundational concepts and information necessary for engaging in research within our organization.

Tier II Sessions
Are geared toward those who need higher level or specialized instruction related to research within our organization.

Participants who complete at least six sessions during the 2022-2023 cycle will receive a certificate of completion for the series.
