Expansion Plans and Updates
Over the next seven years, we are planning to invest more than $1 billion in the region through expanding and modernizing our buildings. These plans include an almost-500,000 square foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and the 77,000 square foot Carilion Children's Tanglewood Center.
Our expansion projects address needs in our communities that have been identified through our community needs assessments and other research. Our goal is to improve access to care, so that everyone in our communities can get the care they need, when they need it, closer to home.
