Patients are admitted to Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital in one of two ways: through the hospital‘s emergency department or by their physicians. In either case the hospital makes every effort to provide you with your choice of accommodations. Private rooms are assigned on the basis of availability at the time of your registration, however you can request a transfer from one type of room to another and once a room is available a change can be made.
