Nonvascular Atrial Fibrillation Study


GLORIA - AF: Global Registry on Long-Term Oral Anti-Thrombotic Treatment in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation (Phase II/III)

This study is looking at people who were recently diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (A-Fib), which was not caused by a heart valve problem. This study is only collecting data and does not give medication or medical care. The main purpose of this research study is to:

  • Look at what goes into the choice of certain medications that were given for the prevention of stroke in people with A-Fib.
  • Collect information on important health-related events and treatments for the prevention of stroke in a 'real-world' setting.


People who were diagnosed as having non-valvular A-Fib within the last 3 months, and who are at least 18 years old.
