Ebola — Facts and Fallacy

Thomas Kerkering, M.D., an infectious disease specialist at Carilion Clinic and Molly O'Dell, M.D., director of the Virginia Department of Health's New River District will be speaking at a seminar at Whitman Theater at Virginia Western Community College.

They will be discussing how Ebola can be transmitted, public prevention strategies, screening procedures at airports, and treatment options.

Other officials will be participating from the health department, Virginia Western, local EMS units and the Near Southwest Preparedness Council.
