Carilion Clinic and Warm Hearth Village are partnering to provide a series of relevant educational programs for seniors from throughout the New River Valley.  They are the last Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm at the Village Center at Warm Hearth Village.

In other words by living unhealthy lifestyles, we can actually damage an otherwise healthy immune system which in turn may potentially cause more harm than good!  You may be thinking that lifestyle-related diseases are not likely to affect you, and hopefully you are right.


The good news is that the above lifestyle-related diseases can almost always be avoided by simply eating a nutritious diet, getting regular exercise, not smoking and drinking in moderation. Well this is true most of the time; however, our health can also be damaged by living in unhealthy or polluted environments.
