Dress up in your most outlandish pink attire and parade with friends and family as we join together to raise awareness by remembering those touched by breast cancer and celebrating the many survivors.  Remember, you MUST positively wear pink!!

Party bags available: $15.00/per bag, which includes a Panera bagel, chance to win a Pandora bracelet (from Fink's Jewelers) and a $10 Taste of Valley View ticket (food sampling from five different restaurants).

When a Patient is Dying: 10 Things Your Families Wish You Knew

If you work with families of patients who have advanced or terminal illnesses, our upcoming conference can help you better understand their needs and challenges in discussing end of life issues with their loved ones.

Some of the topics covered at this conference include:

  • Define 10 needs of families who have a family member who is terminally ill.
  • Demonstrate ways to discuss the difficult topic that there is no more that may be done medically to save a patient’s life.
  • Discuss their own challenges and barriers in discussing end of life issues with patients, as well as ways to respond to those challenges.

Lose weight, gain tools for healthy living and reduce your risk of type (2) Diabetes.
How We Can Help:

  • Lifestyle Coach; Provides small classroom instruction over twelve (12) months to provide education and support
  • Supportive Environment; Work with others to learn how to adopt healthy habits; and
  • Big Rewards, Small steps; Learn strategies for eating healthier and increasing physical activity.

This Program is ongoing for twelve (12) months and meets weekly for (16) weeks to start.  You MUST attend the first meeting to continue with the Program.  Registration is Required!
