Mind Your Memory with Dr. Brian Unwin

Springtree Health and Rehab

From time to time, everyone misplaces their keys or forgets why they’ve walked into a room. But when memory loss affects daily function and performance, this may be a serious concern.

The human brain is responsible for your every thought, emotion, and behavior, including your memory. As we age, a decline in memory is normal but we can make simple lifestyle changes to not only improve memory but also keep it sharp longer.

Brian Unwin, M.D., chief of geriatric and palliative medicine at the Carilion Clinic Center for Healthy Aging, will be speaking at a free event about memory-loss diseases, healthy aging, and what you can do to help put your mind at ease.
