Come and join us this year as Carilion Clinic's Clinical Dietitian, Angela Charlton, R.D., shares her extensive knowledge as a registered dietitian and nutritionist of how to learn to use good nutrition and regular exercise to reduce your risk of Cancer, Heart disease, etc.

Due to the inclement weather in our area, the Kohl's Infant Safe Sleep Program (KISS) Class that is currently scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM, has now been cancelled.  

The class will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Roanoke Public Libraries Annual Health & Safety Fair

The Roanoke Public LIbraries will be hosting its Annual Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, April 30, 2016.  In the past six (6) years this event has drawn over 3,500 people in attendance and over 75 different Health and Safety vendors along with local businesses that provide services to the Roanoke Valley.  Over 75 vendor booths are planned for this event, including: Carilion Cinic, Emergency vehicles, Blood Mobile, DMV2Go trailer, K9 demos, Face painters, Balloon bounces, E-911 booth and much more!

Vendor and attendee Parking will be provided free at the parking garage on the corner of Williamson and Franklin Road.  
This is a Free event for the Community.  There will be food vendor's on-site to sell food and drinks.
