From time to time, everyone misplaces their keys and/or forgets why they have walked into a room. But, when memory loss affects daily function(s) and/or performance(s), this may be a serious concern! The human brain is responsible for your every thought, emotion and behavior - including your memory. As we age, a decline in our memory is normal; but, we can make simple lifestyle changes to not only improve memory, but also keep it sharper longer. At this Free Event, Dr. Brian K. Unwin, M.D., Chief of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Carilion Clinic Center for Healthy Aging, will address tips on what you can do to keep your brain sharp, improve your memory as you age and what you can do to help put your mind at ease.
Refreshments will be provided.
