Carilion Hospitals Receive PRC Quality Awards

[[{"fid":"7451","view_mode":"default","type":"media","attributes":{"height":166,"width":222,"class":"media-element file-default"}}]]Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital, Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Carilion Giles Community Hospital have received top honors from Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a national healthcare marketing research company. Each year, PRC conducts confidential surveys asking patients about their care, and presents awards to top performing hospitals. 

Carlion Giles Community Hospital was named a 4-Star Hospital for Overall Quality of Care, ranking in the top 25% of hospitals. 

The Birthplace at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center was named a 5-Star Award Winner for Overall Quality of Care in inpatient OB/GYN services. 

Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital received two 5-Star Awards, for Overal Quality of Care in Ambulatory Surgery, and Overall Quality of Care in Endoscopy. 

“These awards are a testament to the exceptional care that we provide at Carilion Clinic,” said Carilion President and CEO Nancy Agee. “It’s truly rewarding to know that these units have been recognized for going above and beyond for our patients.”
