Anthem LemonAid Kids Helping Kids--Host a Lemonade stand July 15-17, and generate donations for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals--which leads to direct support for the Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital

  • ANYONE can participate: businesses, families, individuals. 
  • SIGN UP at ; registration is FREE but guarantees we have enough kits (which include lemonade, cups, posters, stickers, balloons, a big foam lemon wedge hat)  Everything you need is provided minus water! 
  • HAVE YOUR LEMONADE STAND anytime from now until July 17th.  The official lemonaid weekend is July 15-17.
  • TURN IN YOUR MONEY in the provided envelope to save the lives of children being treated at Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital.  Help us quench more than just thirst this summer!  It's EASY and FREE to participate.

About Dr. Ackerman

Alice Ackerman, MD, MBA, FAAP, FCCM is the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Carilion Clinic and Professor and Founding Chair of Pediatrics at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Ackerman is recognized nationally as an expert in pediatric critical care.

She has been at Carilion Clinic since June of 2007. Her primary goals are to enhance the health care of children in the Roanoke Valley and Southwest Virginia, and is actively working to do this both as physician in chief of the children's hospital, as well as through involvement with many state-wide initiatives.
