Pregnancy and Parenting
We offer a wide range of educational programs on pregnancy and parenting. Topics cover baby care basics, breastfeeding options, car seat safety, infant CPR, childbirth education and more. We highly recommend that you register for these classes by the 4-5th month of pregnancy as class size is limited.

Children's health classes and events are focused on the wellbeing of children. Topics include nutrition, exercise, safety and injury prevention, among others.
Just a few of the choices include:
Girl Talk – A class for mothers and their 9-12 year old daughters to discuss issues pertaining to puberty
Camp Too Sweet – For young people ages 7-16 who have Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
Camp Tree House - A weekend camping experience for children ages 6-17 who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
Camp Carilion - Provides hands on experience for middle school students to learn about healthcare careers.
Family Camp- An opportunity for children with chronic illnesses and their immediate families to attend camp together. It's opportunity for kids to be kids, to get away and to forget about their illness.
