Patient Access is committed to provide patients safe, efficient, and financially informed access to their healthcare services.

Patient Access is available to answer any questions you may have about financial and registration requirements. Our department offers the following services to our patients:

  • Registration
  • Pre-Registration
  • Insurance Verification
  • Authorization and Pre-certification Requirements
  • Clarity on Financial Responsibility
  • Patient Ambassadors

To Pre-Register

Please contact Patient Access Pre-Registration at 540-224-5200 or toll free at 1-800-928-2860, 5-10 business days before your appointment, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

*At time of registration, please have current demographic information, insurance cards, and form of payment available and ready.

**Please note: if you have any questions regarding special instructions for your procedure, please contact your physician, as we do not have access to this information.

Registration is required for all patients receiving the following services:

  • Radiology Services including ultrasound, MRI, CT, x-ray, and nuclear medicine for all facilities
  • Vascular Laboratory
  • Cardiac Services

  • Ambulatory Surgery

Financial Requirements

To aid in the billing process, staff will obtain updated insurance coverage information and clarify any need for pre-authorization, copay, deductible, or deposit according to your insurance policy. Payment of these out of pocket costs prior to service allows you to free yourself from concern with receiving a bill or wondering if your account has been resolved after your visit. By following such services, we hope to make your check in process go by quicker and free you from billing concerns so you can focus on what matters most to you.
