Carilion's neurovascular clinic is a collaborative clinic involving vascular neurosurgery and endovascular interventional radiology. The concept of the clinic is to expedite care for patients with neurovascular disorders by bringing the specialists together to see patients and review cases in one location. Experts from the two disciplines together review and see patients with neurovascular disorders such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, hemorrhagic strokes, and various other neurovascular malformations. The two groups confer and come to a consensus on how to best manage and treat patients with these disorders. The neurovascular clinic sees patients on Tuesday mornings in Carilion's neurosurgery practice, located in the 3 Riverside building in Roanoke.
