Mended Hearts, a national nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Heart Association, has been offering the gift of hope to heart disease patients, their families and caregivers for more than 50 years.
Recognized for its role in facilitating a positive patient-care experience, Mended Hearts partners with 460 hospitals and rehabilitation clinics and offers services to heart patients through visiting programs, support group meetings and educational forums.

HeartNet of the Virginias
Networking to improve cardiac care, HeartNet of the Virginias has promoted excellence in cardiology in this region for more than 20 years.
Through the sharing of educational and technological resources, HeartNet hospitals and physicians in southwest Virginia and eastern West Virginia have improved the referral process, treatment, and follow-up care for their cardiac patients. Community education efforts, coordinated through HeartNet of the Virginias, have steadily improved the health of the communities we serve.
HeartNet Regional Cardiac Symposium
The 24th Annual Cardiac Symposium will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at the Hotel Roanoke Conference Center. The annual HeartNet Regional Cardiac Symposium provides opportunities for professional development for all cardiovascular team members.
