The Carilion Clinic - Virginia Tech Clinic Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship is a one-year training program designed to give geriatric psychiatry fellows a comprehensive experience. Fellows are exposed to geriatric psychiatry patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, consultative, palliative care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and long-term care settings.
Fellows will interact with geriatric psychiatrists, geriatricians, physiatrists, and allied health personnel in a multidisciplinary model. The curriculum combines a longitudinal and a rotational curricular model.
