Carilion Clinic Charity Care
Carilion Clinic dentists treat patients for all medically necessary services regardless of their ability to pay. Patients that qualify have their dental bill reduced or eliminated based on their financial qualification.
Carilion Clinic Maxillofacial Clinic
Carilion Clinic dentists work with our comprehensive maxillofacial team. We currently see over 150 cleft lip/palate children and adolescents from across southwest Virginia. This monthly team meeting and patient assessment is done without any charge to the patient.
Project Access Dental
Carilion Clinic dentists agree to see two patients per month through Project Access Dental. Project Access Dental is a local not for profit that provides dental access for patients in need that are financially challenged.
Donated Dental Services of Virginia
Carilion Clinic dentists participate with Donated Dental Services of Virginia. Virginia donated dental assists individuals that are financially challenged and need assistance in finding access to needed dental care.
Roanoke Mission of Mercy (MOM)
Carilion Clinic dentists participate in the annual Roanoke Mission of Mercy (MOM) event held every spring at the Roanoke Civic Center. Several MOM projects are held across the Commonwealth of Virginia every year.
