dear readers

Dear readers,

I thought you might like to see this article about me that appeared on the Carilion Clinic website 2 weeks ago. It is part of a series aimed at helping folks get to know the leaders at our institution. My apologies to those of you from Carilion Clinic who have already seen it--some of you have even sent me emails to say hello--that was something completely unexpected and truly welcomed.

I like this piece because it gives you a sense of who I really am, where I came from and gives you a clue of where I and the Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital may be headed.

Does it matter to you that you are able to KNOW the physician leader of CCCH? Do you care? Would you rather that I kept the blog full of evidence-based information about child health? Would you prefer to hear about the residency, the kinds of patients we see, the challenges of everyday life for us?

Please drop me a line here in the comments, or via Twitter or on the Real Moms Know Facebook page.

I really want to try to meet the needs of my readers, and bring you interesting information.  But I realize I cannot read your mind unless you help me. Leave me a comment. I promise to read every one. I promise to approve every one for publication, and I promise to respond to every one (well, at least to the first 100 comments I see here--Ha Ha, I think the most I have ever had on any one post was 12).
