On May 22, 2010, Carilion Giles Community Hospital (CGCH) opened the doors of its new facility and began a new era in healthcare.
In June 2011, the CGCH Emergency Department was named a 4-Star Award Winner for Overall Quality of Care in Emergency Department Services by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). The award is an indication of the excellence in care provided at CGCH each day.
