Paid Time Off (PTO)
If eligible, on your first day of work you begin accruing Paid Time Off (PTO), which can be used for vacation, holidays and sick days. You earn paid time off for every regular paid hour up to 80 hours per pay period. Three times a year, you have the opportunity to cash in some of your PTO rather than taking time off.
Childcare Benefits
We offer childcare benefits in both Roanoke and the New River Valley. In Roanoke, Carilion and HoneyTree Early Learning Centers have partnered to provide our employees with access to quality childcare. Benefits include care for mildly ill children at the Riverwalk HoneyTree location, even if your child does not attend HoneyTree routinely. In addition, we offer childcare services at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
