Family Advisory Councils
Have you ever wanted the opportunity to be an active participant in shaping how treatment is provided to children at Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital? Or, do you wish you could provide support to another parent who is just beginning a similar healthcare experience? If so, one of our Family Advisory Councils may be the place for you:
- Inpatient Pediatric Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Hematology/Oncology
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Outpatient clinics
The Family Advisory Councils seek to improve the healthcare experience for young patients and their loved ones at Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital and its outpatient clinics by providing a forum for communication and cooperation between families, hospital staff and hospital administration.
There is a Family Advisory Council for each area of the Children’s Hospital and we welcome new members! If you would like to join a Family Advisory Council, have questions or would like to learn more, contact:
