Several programs at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital were awarded Joint Commission Disease-Specific Certifications in September 2011. These include:
Consumer Choice Awards
Healthcare consumers ranked Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Carilion New River Valley Medical Center as the “most- preferred” hospitals in the Roanoke and New River valleys, respectively, earning 2011-12 Consumer Choice Awards from the National Research Corporation. Of the 3,200 hospitals named by consumers, CRMH and CNRV were among the 300 that received awards.
Magnet Status Hospital
