Visiting Residents
Available Resident and Fellow Rotations
Carilion Clinic offers residents and fellows from other programs opportunities to either shadow or rotate at a Carilion hospital or clinic. Carilion residents wanting out-rotations should consult their residency program administrator.
Shadow Visits
If you would like to shadow while in Roanoke for interviews with our residencies or fellowships, please ask the residency program of interest to arrange the visit. To shadow at other times, you must complete an observer application. Shadow visits are for 1-3 days only and no housing is available.
Rotations
Residents and fellows wanting to come for patient intervention rotations must apply. Please carefully follow the directions and process described on the cover letter and application.
