III. RAP
Research Acceleration Program at Carilion Clinic
The Research Acceleration Program (RAP) was created to provide seed funding to augment scholarly activity and generate preliminary data, with the ultimate goal of developing extramural grants.
Designated funds have been earmarked for Carilion employees, including Jefferson College of Health Sciences faculty. Collaborations with outside organizations, such as Virginia Tech, are strongly encouraged. RAP Guidelines have been developed to assist with the application process.
All awardees must also follow the RAP Travel Guidelines.
