At Carilion Clinic we have psychiatrists and therapists who specialize in helping with addiction, psychiatric and behavioral problems. Our Inpatient and outpatient treatment programs are offered in both the Roanoke and New River valleys.
Our caring team is made up of specialists who are trained to help those from childhood through the golden years. We also provide specialized mental health treatments to meet our patients' individual needs.
In a crisis, or if you need to discuss accessing our services, our CONNECT referral service is available 24 hours a day to help.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine provides inpatient and outpatient programs in comforting environments.
In our Roanoke facilities we offer a Child and Adolescent inpatient program in addition to adolescent outpatient counseling. The new inpatient unit specializes in behavioral and addiction problems for children ages 5 through 17.
At Carilion Clinic Saint Albans Hospital, partial hospitalization (a full day in the hospital but go home in the evening) is offered to help patients manage through difficult times.
