Pediatric Services
At Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital, we take pride in having a team of dedicated pediatric specialists who provide expert care for infants, children and adolescents both within the hospital and beyond hospital walls, in our specialty clinics. CCCH has excellent physicians who specialize in pediatric allergy, cardiology, dentistry, gastroenterology/nutrition, hematology/oncology, neurology, pulmonology, surgery, developmental pediatrics and trauma.
These specialists have extensive training in the specific healthcare needs of children. At Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital a child is treated as a child, not a little adult. The pediatric specialists also provide diagnostic services and care at our outpatient specialty clinics, treatment and consultation during a hospital stay, and follow-up care back in the clinic setting.

In southwest Virginia, we are one of the few pediatric clinics serving patients irrespective of their ability to pay for services. Children are not turned away, regardless of insurance.
