Thank you for visiting the site of Carilion Clinic’s Section of Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine and International Travel Clinic. The Section is actively engaged in clinical care, research and education of Fellows in the subspecialty of Infectious Diseases.
Diagnosis and treatment of bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections is provided. In addition, services range from caring for the population of patients with HIV in Southwestern Virginia to providing consultation and immunizations for international travel.
Our faculty sees patients from the age of 10 years through the geriatric population.
