The Carilion Clinic Department of Medicine is the largest department of the Clinic and participates in a broad offering of clinical care, education and research.

Full-time members of the Department, in partnership with our faculty at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center and affiliated independent practices, provide a full array of primary care clinical services and specialty medical services.
