Cardiac Stress Tests and Echocardiogram


A cardiac stress test may be ordered if you have or are suspected of having coronary artery disease. These tests can evaluate your heart's response to stress or exercise. An stress echocardiogram or "echo" is an ultrasound-based procedure that shows how the heart chambers and valves are working.
