At Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH), we take pride in having a team of dedicated pediatric specialists who provide expert care for infants, children, and adolescents both within the hospital and in our specialty clinics throughout southwest Virginia.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at CCCH
CCCH has excellent physicians who specialize in pediatric allergy, cardiology, dentistry, gastroenterology/nutrition, hematology/oncology, neurology, pulmonology, surgery, developmental pediatrics, and trauma.
Specialized Care, Close to Home
Our pediatric specialists have extensive training in the specific healthcare needs of children. At Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital a child is treated as a child, not a little adult. The pediatricians also provide diagnostic services and care at our outpatient specialty clinics, treatment and consultation during a hospital stay, and follow-up care back in the clinic setting.
Many of our subspecialists have additional satellite clinics in other locations, such as Lexington, Martinsville, Radford, Danville, and Lynchburg.
We are one of the few pediatric clinics in southwst Virginia serving patients irrespective of their ability to pay for services. Children are not turned away, regardless of insurance.
