Becker’s Hospital Review has announced its list of the best physician executive leaders of hospitals and health systems in the country. Carilion Clinic’s President and CEO, Edward G. Murphy, M.D., is among 30 healthcare leaders who “excel on the leadership side of healthcare in an extraordinary manner.” Murphy is the only Virginia physician executive on the list.
